My senior son just received a cover letter and brochure about affording Mac and it is one of the only mailings he has actually read start to finish before tossing it on the stack. Delightfully irreverant and witty. He genuinely laughed.

Interesting contrast to the dollar bill theme on similar Kenyon mailings.

I just may be able to get this drag-his-feet senior to visit Mac after all! Nice work, Admissions office.

We are on the second year of admission mailings, and I do like to tone of Mac, they do not appear to take themselves so seriously. Brochures do sound the same after awhile. D will visit Mac in Oct. (The only brochure I ever actually read was Lewis & Clark, somehow it was readable.) Hopefully the tone of Mac faculty will be as pleasant, as two communications over two years have been snippy and we do wonder about that.
