Is anyone here taking the Latin SAT subject test on December 7? If so, let's talk about it here! I've never seen a thread for the latin subject test so I'm predicting I won't get a huge response, but if anyone's taking it, please respond so that we can discuss prep! Only 11 days left!

I am! I’m currently in Latin 4 but I haven’t really done any specific test prep yet… kinda stressing about that. What are you doing to prep?

I have the REA prep book, so I’ve reviewed a little bit with that. I’m in latin 3 this year but we finished all the grammar in Latin 2 and I think I’m prepared enough for the SAT. We didn’t learn poetry yet, though, so I had to learn that on my own. I’m just really worried about the vocabulary, because if you don’t know what a word means you just don’t know and there’s no way to figure it out. I’m going to do a few practice tests before next Saturday, but other than that I just need to review comparative and superlative adjectives.

I also have the REA book. I was going to take the exam in December but then decided that I wouldn’t have enough time to prepare before the exam, so I’m going to take it in June. I wish the exam was offered more than twice a year so that I could just get it over with.
