I saw this on the website and am wondering if they've upgraded to machines that take the OneCard or a debit card the way some campuses do (not that this is a deal-breaker, mind you;)

If it's still coins, how many quarters per load?

According to my D, the machines take either coin or a credit card–and the cost is $1.25 per machine, so it costs $2.50 to wash and dry a load. Also, she tells me that there is a way to check online and determine the availability of machines, although she never used it last year since there were machines on her floor and she only had to listen in the hallway to see if they were free.

Thank you! D is in for a rude awakening going from washing absolutely free of charge to having to pay $2.50/load. Welcome to adult life…

Ah, and once she graduates she’ll miss laundry costing $2.50 per load…
