DS couldn't figure out where or how to sign up for laundry services. He was planning on using his own but his friend convinced him it was easier if he used the service. He's not sure but would like to explore the possibility.

Thanks!

I’m not sure what you mean… most people just use the washers and dryers in the dorms. I don’t know of anyone who uses a service.

Someone else will have to chime in.

Are you talking about the service that cleans your sheets?

Ya, I also need to find out how. My best guess? Move in day there will be information about it.

I believe someone on my tour at AOP mentioned how you just drop off your dirty sheets somewhere… Ya, I’m not the most helpful - guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I think you just sign up and drop off at the front desk of your dorm. When you drop off your old sheets, on Thursday’s I believe, they give you a pack of new sheets and towels.

I think you’re referring to the linen packs provided by the front desk. When your son moves in, he’ll have to talk to the registration folks to obtain his key and such, and during that process they will ask if he wants a linen pack, which he can exchange weekly for new linens. Beyond that, there is no laundry service that will actually wash your clothes for you, but I think a service like that in the dorms would make bank! ;)

Yes thanks the linen packs. I finally found information on the liveon site. Yup he has to ask for it on move in day. I guess he’ll see how the sheets feel. He’s heard from some they are like sandpaper and others say not so bad.

Sunday is fast approaching. Oh I am not ready…nor is he! Yikes!
