Lawrenceville, Milton, Taft, or Middlesex?

Hi,
I am a 9th grader entering BS in 10th grade. I was accepted at Lawrenceville, Milton, Taft, Middlesex, Kent, Miss Hall's, Miss Porter's, The Hill, Loomis Chaffee, Peddie.

I think I have narrowed it down to L'ville, Milton, Middlsex, Taft and I need a little help choosing from those.
I am going to attend the revisit days but I still want any input.

The things I am most considering:
high academics
chances of getting into ivy
most programs/ offerings
extracurriculars

I know L'ville has taken away AP courses and I don't know for sure how that will affect college decisions. Although I know it shouldn't be a priority, I will admit I am concerned with getting into a good college.

So what would you guys choose and why?
any info would be appreciated!! :)

Good luck to any applicants considering different schools!!

How about their math and science programs?

I don’t think Lville’s removal if the AP designation from its upper level courses should be of any concern regarding college placement.

Least important thing on your list. The school you go to WILL NOT in all likelyhood increase your chances of getting into an IVY. Those stats are not comprehensive and the kids getting into IVY’s from a particular school may be legacies, friends of large donors, celebrity or politician kids, widely coveted jocks, etc… The discrete number of students from any given class going to an IVY is low comparatively when you factor out all the hooked kids going.

So, as we often say on CC, go to the school that fits you and gives you the best academic challenge. Don’t go to a school expecting to get an IVY bump. IVY’s are getting hip to that trick and it’s a waste of time and money if that is the only reason you want a boarding school.
