What did you guys put for the important moment in leadership?

everybody feel free to message me to just talk about the program!
anyway, for my moment of leadership … i havent written it yet but im thinking of explaining how i started a club.
but we’ll see.

anybody else want to share sat scores? gpa?

i’m just curious as to the diversity of people applying and whether you guys think youll get in

How many words can you fit within 1000 characters?

To be honest, with 1000 characters you can only have approximately ~180 words at the most. (at least that’s the case for me)

Also, just a quick question:
I’m an international student that would love to apply to this program, but I haven’t taken any PSAT, SAT or ACT yet. If I don’t have those scores, would that be detrimental to my application?

Hey guys, I’m also applying for this program now. I have just finished my essay and now I’m listing the activities and honors. I’m kinda confused whether we should write them into paragraphs or just simply list all the bullet points.

What did you guys do with that?

I’m kind of nervous about my essay coz my first language is not English…

Standardized Test scores are an optional component to the application. Although they are highly recommended, quite a few people still get admitted without them. If you’re taking the SAT in March, you can still send in your score once you receive your results; however, there’s no guarantee that it will be considered or affect the admission committees decision.

Not having SATs isn’t a big problem, I don’t think. You can definitely still be admitted. @lizzy: I used a bulleted list. I’m sure paragraph form would be okay too.

Just want to confirm something really quickly. If you’re accepted in the program, you can still choose whether you want to accept or decline, right?

^ Yes, though I think the time to decide was only like 1-2 weeks last yr…

I am also applying for LBW 2012! I am just wondering if there is a submit button for the online application after you are finished with your online application (essays, activities etc.).??

Applying with 2340 and 231. Where does this put me?

And is it okay to email in your unofficial transcript?

Yes, it’s okay to email in your unofficial transcript.

Also, did anyone else have problems sending in supplementary materials? I sent mine into the jkcp email address, but then I got an email that said there was an error and my email to jkcp could not be sent. I emailed LBW and asked, but did anyone else experience this?

ARGHHHH I just saw their note over the essay prompt that mentions the 300 word limit. WHAT! I was following the 6,000 character limit and I had 1,200 words! This is awful, absolutely awful. I don’t even know how to condense it.

Last year, there wasn’t a submit button. Just finish it all up by the deadline and it’ll automatically take your app!

i still havent submitted my transcripttt.
ahh .

also guys the response date is TOOOO FARR. i cant live til then not knowing:/

its going to suck if i dont get in bc my choices are like this or studying for SAT’s all summer. i dont want to do a different summer college bc i did one last year and i had bad experience

@ caughtintraffic
i just experienced this!! could you let me know if they reply?

You guys can check with JKCP, but I mailed all of my supplementary materials to the address they gave us. They sent a confirmation email when they received all of it.

Send it to:
