<p>this summer...i'm applying to the Latino Community LEadership Seminar.....does anyone have any experience or knowledge on the matter?</p>
<p>Hey, I would definitely encourage you to apply to LCLS. It was an amazing experience and I immediately knew ND was for me. As to whether or not it acts as an automatic acceptance, I have yet to know. I applied Early Action, the plan they encouraged us to apply under as "the best and brightest" of today's Latino students.</p>
<p>haha good luck.....that was the first year they did it right? this summer i talked to Mr. Allert Gort-Brown......i think that was his name...........and he said that i should apply...........but wow..only 20 of each sex.....thats competitive right?</p>
<p>Yeah over 200 kids applied for 40 spots and it was actually harder for the girls because they wanted 20 boys and 20 girls. I imagine even more people will apply this year because last year was only the first year. However you should definitely apply. I don't know if I'll necessarily get in right now but I know it definitely helped. I know at least three of the admissions people by name and we regularly e-mail eachother. It's also a chance to the red carpet treatment at a top school. They spent over $60,000 for 40 of us to come to Notre Dame!</p>

<p>Well I get my letter that I had gotten in today, phew...i was getting worried cuz they sed that they were mailed out last saturday</p>
