So,
I was browsing through a couple of sites (BSR, Forbes, Wiki) and I cam across a boarding school that seemed to me like it was HADES combined.
This school is called Le Rosey and it is located in Switzerland.
It's got an INCREDIBLE campus and rigorous academics.
It is rated number one on Forbes' list of the most luxurious/expensive boarding school in Europe, but I have also heard from a few that it was the ultimate, best boarding school in the world.

in science class in 9th grade the kids at this rigorously academic school boil pasta. Le Rosey serves a purpose, just not the kind that HADES et al do.

This is a school for the children of oil sheiks and international jetsetters. While I do not agree, there is one poster here who would probably describe the students as "Eurotrash." That is not my word, but that posters.

It's a great school, no doubt about it, but it's for the extremely wealthy although I've heard that they give out a couple scholarships. But we really have to take in the matter of FA into consideration. The HEADS/HADES schools or similar schools in that tier offer a substantial amount of FA compared to Le Rosey and not all brilliant students come from wealthy families.

HADES are better. That much I can tell you... Le Rosey is a great school but you will just see a bunch of rich kids there. Some of the campuses around here are far better, the big plus is the skiing (but again that reflects the opulence).

a bunch of rich kids isnt bad... in fact they'll open new opportunities for you. I love the campus of Le rosey and how they're curriculum is taught in french or english.

At Le Rosey academics are number two. Connections and skiing are number one. I know alot about Le Rosey, because a girl that I drive to school went there for half a year(Or a full year... Can't remember) as an exchange student to learn French.

I have a friend I used to go to school with who left to go there last year. His parents are from France but of middle eastern origin so definitely not a "white kid". He LOVES it, especially skiing and snowboarding everyday during the winter. He is very smart and rich but super nice too. If he is like the other students, it would be a great place to go...

You guys act like being rich is a bad thing. If you have a problem with rich kids then I advise you not to go to the HADES schools. Many students at these schools are wealthy.

That's what I am saying... mpicz is correct in saying that at La Rosey you would be in nothing but opulence, at HADES you will have a lot more diversity. I really have nothing against wealth, believe me.

hockeykid, the people on this board are referring to the quite frankly insane degree of wealth that Le Rosey students both are exposed to and possess. No one here has anything against wealth. It's just that to most or all of us, the concept of a school populated entirely by students whose parents own private jets and have their kids ski everyday instead of do homework, is a very foreign idea. Capiche?

For reference it costs 100,000 dollars a year for an education/experience (except for skiing, but I am not willing to pay that delta) far below that of schools like Andover.
