Thanks for postings this and congratulations for being rated so highly.

thanks... hope we see some more acceptances at penn... good luck guys yea they seem pretty disorganized so I wouldn't worry

are the only people who received some form of acceptance the people that got those "you are one of the top applicants" letters?

this is hopeless and ridiculous... Cornell was my first choice, does this mean i have a less chance of being accepted not because they're on sabbatical? if this were going to happen, they should have informed us of this before we applied so we didn't waste our time applying to SBI's that don't exist. This is so unorganized, Cornell and Georgetown were the closest schools that i applied to and probably most of the new york kids too, this is probably why they haven't sent anything to us, they have NO IDEA what to do with us. I think U Penn was like my 5th choice which is the next closest school. This is ridiculous, I'm going to complain to them if i end up wait listed.

yea for me georgetown was my 2nd choice and cornell was my third... I would have thought that by february 5th they wouldve found out about this

cant they try hosting it at a different college if Cornell and Georgetown dropped out, there's plenty of other colleges with strong business programs

The reason the programs aren't being run at Cornell and Georgetown are purely financial; corporate sponsorship keeps this program going; and the current fiscal situation in many industries and parts of the country is being reflected in LEAD and many other types of outreach programs. It takes a joint commitment between the individual schools and their regional corporate partners to run LEAD at each school, and (in many situations) several years to coordinate and get a meaningful commitment on each side.

does anybody know what is going on? anybody else not heard anything?

I haven’t heard anything yet either

I’m really confused b/c some people said they were accepted, but others said they were rejected. Did they sent out both b/c I haven’t heard anything yet, and I live in Maryland.
