@Aphex1-- i decided to do it that way too :)

Yeah, I did what you both, wahkimoocow and Aphex1, did to attach the article. lol, my article was soo long though…they will probably need to scroll a lot

wahkimoocow, i’m from central jersey too!!

dang–oh really!!! lol. i hope we both get in! are you hoping to stay local?

yeah, I’m hoping to get stay local. I’m praying for Wharton, but that might just be a long shot… This wait has been so long!

yeaa i want wharton too or cornell.
and omg, the wait does feel very very long!

Haha yeah my article was huge. I did my essay on unethical bank lending practices. These summer programs always withhold when they will make admission decisions, but I’m guessing those accepted will get letters in early/mid April.

Did anyone just post their essays into the online app and not send them in hard copy? Because they are calling and e-mailing people and telling them that their app is incomplete and to send their essays. This happened to my friend, so heads up to anyone else (they are reading the first round of apps now…like last names A)

@sandra_ny2011-- really??? they never said to send a hard copy of the essay
i got an email about 2 weeks ago saying that my app was incomplete be/c i simply posted a link/title of the article instead of actually posting it with the essay
but after i emailed him with the article that person emailed me back and said “okay thank you i will add this to your file”…he didnt complain about the essay not being in hard copy! ugh. lol
wait, does your friend have to actually mail it to them? or fax it?
sorry for my rant
thanks

and when do you think decisions will be out?

@wahkimoocow: I know they never said to have the essay in hard copy since there was the space to copy and paste the essay so my friend was surprised also. But all she did was e-mail it to them and then she got the same “okay thank you i will add this to your file” from Janice Jenkins.

Ugh I wish I knew when decisions will be out. Last year they came out around the late 20s of march to early April because of all the waitlist stuff with Georgetown and Cornell, but since our deadline was almost a full month later, I am assuming early-mid April unless they try to speed through the apps.

@sandra_ny2011-- okay thanks. that is EXTREMELY strange, lol but i will be on the look out for an email from them. thanks for the heads up ;)

Does anyone know what they do at Stanford LEAD?

I’m not quite sure which one I’d like to go on next year: Wharton or Stanford.
I read the Wharton schedule from a previous year a couple pages ahead. Just wondering what Stanford’s like.

@Yuuguu-- look on the website.
when you click on the school to the side, each one has their own description.

schools* (10 charts)

OMGG guys I just called LEAD and they said admissions will be released the end of this week to next week!!! AHHHHH!! I’m soo nervous :/

did anyone notice that Cornell is on sabbatical AGAIN!!! sheesh just take it off the list then arghh… I think it was my fifth choice though :/

AHHH!! Thanks for the update sandra! I know I have a long shot, but I just can’t help feel a little (well maybe more than a little) giddy inside :D

@sandra_ny2011-- OMGGGGGGG im more nervous than anything else, lol. i have so many back-up plans just in case this doesnt fall into place.

ughhh! i hope cornell doesnt back out…I regret writing that “due to my less than satisfactory financial situation at this time, my ideal program would one in close proximity to nj i.e. upenn, cornell…” UGH! but whatever, it is what it is. i hope i get in-fingers crossed.

Yay! Can’t wait till the results come does that mean we won’t receive them until next week?

this is kind of late, but do you guys know of any other alternatives for summer business programs?

wish you all the best of luck :D
