At the Wharton pre-college programs pages, it states....

Leadership, Education and Development (LEAD)
The widely acclaimed LEAD Program at Wharton introduces some of the nation's brightest **African-American, Hispanic, and Native American **high school students to business.

So is the program only offered to those ethnicities?

I think so...the LBW program (Leaders in the Business World) is similar to Lead as it is a summer program through Wharton. If you look at the picture, they are all ethnecities.

I'm not 100% though and I would suggest calling Penn to clarify. But if ur interested in LEAD and are not a minortiy, look into LBW as an alternative.

but in the LEAD application, it asks for your ethnicity (there is a space for caucasians).

maybe it means auto reject (for not reading the program carefully) :P

yea i would call one of the numbers listed for LEAD and ask them, but from wat ive seen in pictures and on the website it seems to me that it is for minority students

they have caucasians on many programs that are meant for minorities they are just there for no reason, like in the gates millenium scholarship which is strictly for minorities if you wanted to you could put white but im sure you would get rejected

Note the it does not say asians...and wait for complaints

Summer Programs - The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania

It says "minorities" on this link i found telling me that this is not the program for u. id look into the LBW program which is fairly similar
