Leadership in the Business World at Wharton

Does anyone know how selective this program is (ie would going to this program really be a boost to an application?

also, anyone else applying? anyone been to it and could tell me how it is?

and, did anyone you know that did the program get in / not get in to wharton for undergrad?

sorry one more thing...what does a "rolling admissions process" mean for the program

Rolling admissions means that as soon as they receive all your application materials, you will be evaluated. They don't notify everyone on the same date. So there is an advantage to getting your stuff in early.
S is applying.

If youre a URM, look into the LEAD program in business as well. Feel free to IM me or email me about it, I did it last summer - it is ridiculously awesome.

their website is www.leadnational.org

the original site for the SBI (Summer Business Institute) was at Wharton, and that is the best of the programs that they offer. The organization now has the SBIs all over the place, but you want the Wharton program for sure.

I'm not a minority (white) but looking through it LEAD still sounds interesting. It seems that LBW is more selective though (1400 avg PSAT vs 1220). but if i dont get into LBW, or decide that i wont make it in, should i still be interested in LEAD (as a non-minority)?

also, does anyone know if the 3/12 new sat scores will be sent out by april 1st? if it is a rolling application i'd like to get it in asap but there will be a huge diff b/w my sat & psat (i only got an equiv 1310 & had done no prep for it...scoring equiv 1450-1500 now on practice after abt 3 wks of prep). if i dont have the new sat in my chances might be shot...

anyone know what they value the most for applicants?

If anyone would look at my stats in relation to LBW that would be great

THANKS!

My guess is that references and grades are more important than the SAT, since they are asking for scores from tests taken fairly early. You are living at Penn, so they want to make sure you have the maturity and won't be a problem.
