I'm currently a junior, but I'm lacking in leadership. I was planning to run for a couple of leadership positions in some clubs at the beginning of the year, but I had some problems at the beginning of the year and I was out of it for a while. So that didn't really work out. >.< However, I've gotten back up on my feet, and I'm trying to think of leadership ideas. I love working with animals, so I'm trying to find something related to that.

I know I will try for some positions next year, but I would also like to have some leadership positions this year. What are some ideas for me?

Also, would helping to maintain an organization's website be leadership or volunteer?

A position is what you make of it. I have been webmaster for clubs for several years now and I've learned that there is simply doing your job and being a leader. Doing your job is just maintaining the site by keeping it updated and running. Being a leader is doing something with the site that is dearly needed by the club.

you can try going up to a herd of zebra and ask them if they'll like you to lead them.

KIDDING! :D

but really, even if you cannot get leadership position (at some places it's more of a popularity contest), you can always do things a leader would. for instance, you can initiate something. or something.
