Leadership??

<p>I'm applying to Michigan State and I am supposed to write an essay about a leadership role I've played outside the classroom. The problem is that I've never really been a leader in any organisation or anything. There are no such thing as clubs or anything in my school (I'm not from US) and the course load simply does not give me time for extracurricular activities such as community service or something. Do you have any suggestions? Should I mention leadership in my relationship with people or something like that?</p>

<p>This essay is optional by the way, but it'd be a plus if I wanted to be considered for scholarships (which I need). Any suggestions would be much appreciated.</p>

<p>you've been to high school. you should have already mastered the art of bsing. just write about how you are a leader in home or something</p>

<p>You don't even have to bs something. Leadership doesn't require a specific distinguished title. Talk about a school project, or role in your family, etc.</p>
