I feel the same exact way @shanabanana1 . I got into the interview stage for another program, but I just feel like LEDA has everything that I need and want, bundled into one program. I just want to have an interview and that alone could really ease up the distress right now.

For those of you who had an interview, about how long did it last? Mine was about 35 mins and I think it wasnt that great. And I think everyone gets decisions this friday based off of leda’s twitter acount
What does their Twitter page say that makes you think that
I think the hardest part is going to be telling my college guidance counselor about this.
They said that they’d hopefully be done by the end of this week.

@da2949 mine took about 50 minutes, but not really. Towards the end when we got past the questions and into what colleges in looking into, the wifi at my home cut off. I quickly ran to a place where I could get internet and a laptop and I called her back and we finished. And I think you guys are being hard on yourselves if you say that your interview is the reason you aren’t going to get in, rememeber that @cryinginspanish said her interview didn’t go that well and she got in. A BAD interview will most likely dash your chances, but I doubt you guys fumbled that bad. After all you got all the way past the interview
Guys, you need to relax a bit. I know it’s hard, but this is life. You need to accept that, no matter what.
I asked my interviewer that when would be the latest we will hear back. She told me that LEDA would still be finalizing everything until the second week of April.
Then I asked her, would you send the rejection emails?
She said yes, we will notify each and every applicant.
This means, that if you still haven’t heard anything from them does not mean you’re rejected. There’s still a chance! Even if you don’t qualify, (Worst case scenario, I WOULDN’T WANT THAt) maybe because of your high income, or anything. Don’t lose hope guys. There are still so many other opportunities in America. Use them to the fullest! Just don’t waste your time thinking about LEDA. Leda scholars would achieve through the help of this program. But you guys? You’ll strive to get to your main goal, by yourselves! Isn’t that more daring? Leave it to God. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe you’ll find something a lot better.

@distinctdna well technically the second week of april ends on Friday, and they’ve stated multiple times that they’re expecting to be done by the end of this week (Friday). That being said, I completely agree with the other part of your comment.
There are many amazing opportunities that surround each and every one of us, and if we don’t get whatever we want, it’s for a reason. Maybe another opportunity will rise in the future, who knows! There are other great opportunities out there, just as good as LEDA, but you just have to search a little harder to find them. But I really appreciate your insight and I do believe in it as well. In the end, everything will go your way (:
