I sent my application literally the day it was due and I received my acceptance into round 2 March 1st. There is another process though; I have to send my fall Junior grades, citizenship, and tax returns by March 7th.So how can they send acceptances into round 2 throughout March if the required information for Round 2 is due by March 7th? Could it be different for others?
@PrimeCollegiate since it’s rolling admissions, i bet they do it in batches of people. Like for you the deadline is March 7th, so they can process you quickly and set up your interview. After that they can focus on dealing with the next batch of people.
I bet they just don’t want people to be working on it till April, because they can’t give you an interview then.

What work do we do at LEDA? Is it a lot?
Hi! So um I just found this thread today, and I’m one of those who moved onto round 2 of their application selection. I’m wondering if anyone knows when the 7 week course will take place? Any dates? I have another Japan trip to attend with my school’s National Honor Society, but I don’t want to ask LEDA or bring it up, just in case they consider not picking me because of it. Also, is anyone else who moved onto round 2 from Hawaii??? I would like to know, I’m from Hawaii. :3
and yes Hawaiian is spelled wrong on my username… When signing up I failed to realize it, and as a result, I an now stuck with it…
@HawaianPeppers Don’t be afraid to ask them about your trip. There has been a couple others who have had prior obligations. It will not harm your acceptance.
Anyone who has not received an email yet and is having doubts, I suggest that you take a look at LEDAs twitter. I don’t have a twitter, but I still looked and saw that they addressed the situation of everyone not receiving an email. Their twitter is LEDA_Scholars
Is it bad to be kind of nervous, I really want to get into this program, but i have not received an email yet. Any suggestions on what I should be doing?

Many of us haven’t received an email yet tbh.
Just be patient, it’ll come sooner or later. If not, you’ll at least be free in the summer for other things.
My part II application is due tomorrow but the link isn’t letting me submit it. I’m freaking out. I tried calling the LEDA and sending an email but got no response back (granted, this was all yesterday which is Sunday and it’s still early Monday.)
