LEEP scholarship and SAT/GPA

Hi,
may I ask questions about LEEP scholarship? I have been hesitating whether I should apply or not.
1) does it require an essay?
2) I have 3.81 uw gpa, 4.11 w gpa. It seems like my gpa is top 25% of applicants. Also, my SAT breakdown is, by super scoring, 710 reading, 740 Math and 800 Writing. With my stat, is it worth applying for it?
Thank you

I certainly think so, your SAT is very good and I don’t have numbers off the top of my head but D’s numbers were lower and she was still in the top 25%. She will be applying for the LEEP scholarship as well.

There is a required essay. If you have the time to write it, then there is no reason why it wouldn’t be worth it. The worst that could happen is you spent time on the essay and then don’t get it, while the best case is that you get a full ride. And anything in the middle would leave you with one of the other scholarships, which you seem to be qualified for.
