Hi, so I received my rejected from USC this morning, and I was not offered the Trojan Transfer Plan. From what I’ve gathered this is mainly offered to legacies. In my rejection letter, there was no recognition of my legacy status at USC. I am a third gen legacy. Both my grandmother and grandfather graduated from USC as well as my aunt and I mentioned this on the common app. I would love to attend USC. Is there any way to appeal to be offered the Trojan Transfer Plan? Is it possible that the admissions office made a mistake and overlooked my legacy status? According to my stats (and other people’s stats who have gotten accepted from my school), I am a decent candidate for USC and I am surprised by my rejection without the offer of the TTP. Thanks!
Sorry to hear that. For a competitive school like USC nowadays I don’t think legacy even matters. They will probably just tell you to apply again next year for transfer, so they can take another $85 from you. Good luck.
I don’t think they count grandparents, now as legacies.
You can call and ask.
