Legacy if parents drops out

My mom got accepted to brown and dropped out in her first or second year there, because of cancer. Do I still have legacy status?

Ask the admissions office at Brown. Schools have different definitions of legacy (some include grad school and others don’t, for example.)

According to Brown’s Dean of Admission, they define legacies as those with a parent (or grandparent or sibling, to a lesser extent) who attended Brown.
