<p>I am considering applying to upenn this fall for ED or RD. I have 3 first cousins who went to upenn in the past 25 years. Two undergrad and one med school. I know it's not my mother father or sibling but would close cousins count as legacy? Would the combination of a first generation African American urm and family grads of upenn make admission officers have mixed feelings?</p>
<p>only parents and grandparents(they count both undergrad and grad) count for legacy. this is fairly generous(Harvard only counts legacy if a parent did undergrad).</p>
