Hi, I was wondering if this counts as a legacy or not.

My great-great-grandfather went to college and law school at Columbia, and my cousin went to law school at Columbia.

Thanks

Not. Legacy status is when either of your parents went to Columbia. It might include siblings too, but I’m not quite sure about that.

No, you’re not technically a legacy. But you should still mention those connections on the app. (That’s assuming the app has a place to mention them; it did when I applied in 2009.)
