Lehigh needs 2012 tax returns by feb 15th?!

Okay that’s probably a good idea, thanks. I should do it now, then. I can’t believe how many different pieces of data they need!

I just looked at their check list and they are asking for the student and parents signed federal tax returns. Are they asking for the fafsa or the actual packet of information (scanned copy of course)?

Packet…You need to send copies of the returns…Just getting my taxes back in the next 2 days…This is stressful.

Our understanding was that everything was due, fafsa, and all tax returns along with financial aid apps.

you might want to ask directly on the lehigh financial aid facebook page.

@britsmum I know everything was due feb-15 so now I am wondering whether it’s worth it to bother sending in my tax returns and such.

On the financial aid Facebook page they rwcommend sending it.

This is definitely a “fun” time of year for ED admits. I remember going through the same problems. Lehigh was constantly bugging us for info, but in the end they were fairly lenient with us when we couldn’t make every deadline.

Send as much as you can as early as you can - even if you think you’ve missed the deadline it’s best to send it anyway.

I went through this years ago. And now my dad and my sister are going through the same thing right now with the folks at Hopkins, so let’s just say I feel your pain.

Best,

I got in contact with the financial aid department and they said that it would be best to submit them as soon as possible even though the deadline has passed. It is a lot quicker to send it through their electronic dropbox too as a pdf rather than scanning all documents and then sending them in.
