i'm goin to apply to one of these 2 schools but i don't know which. can someone inform me as to their academics (best known for....), social scene, diversity, campus, etc etc? it'll be greatly appreciated. i know lehigh's business is pretty good

why don't u just apply to both.

i'm really tryin to cut my list down. in my mind they are really kinda similar...

My impression is that they are both comparable academically, although may give a small edge to Bucknell. Both have nice campuses, although think Bucknell is a little nicer. Neither school has much diversity. Both have about an equal fraternity focus to them. Lehigh has a higher % of students in engineering. Bucknell has a higher % in traditional liberal arts majors. You would really have to know the rest of your list for any context of which school you would want to exclude.

Which do you like better, Gothic or red brick and pillars?

haha LOL i love the old gothic..

which has a better econ dep?

^Probably Bucknell, at least as based on % of grads who go onto to get a PhD in economics.

i guess overall reputation, bucknell has an edge over lehigh...

I'd say overall rep of Lehigh is ahead, but they are so close that the type of architecture is a legit tie breaker.

^lmao haha seriously? =) i did visit lehigh and its campus was nice. the neighborhood, not so much. but inside it's really pretty. love the gothic architecture
