Grocery Delivery

Has anyone used oneclickgrocery.com? If so, were you pleased with it?

Wow... not only did you post in the wrong section, but I think you've got the wrong site...

Cornell 2012: oneclickgrocery.com delivers groceries to the ithaca/cornell area. please tell me why this is the wrong place to post.

i haven't personally used it. but i've heard of it (not sure if it was the same service or something similar) and probably will use it sometime before may 2011.

I used it in the beginning of fall 2007. My daughter loved it. They were on time and delivered fresh fruit and water to her. But they have discontinued it for Cornell because the person that was running it for the Ithaca area left. I think they are in the process of finding someone to replace him. If you want to bring it back, email the owner. I am hoping they would bring it back.

Oh, I'm sorry. How are the prices from this site? Reasonable?

Very competitive. The best part was that my daughter didn't have to walk up 5 flights of stairs carrying a case of water. Fresh fruits were from Wagman. Many parents were sending their kids care packages, instead I ordered all of my kid's favorite food from them and saved $$ on shipping.

Do a lot of students/ their parents use this service?

Is oneclickgrocery cheaper than actually eating at Cornell on a meal plan?

They have discontinued the service. I used it for my daughter. I am hoping they will bring it back. I am not sure what's Cornell's policy on freshmen's meal plan. But meal time is a very social time for students. You should eat with your friends, not by yourself. My daughter is down to 7 meals a week with $500 red bucks(not sure). She usually eats breakfast in her room (cereal and coffee), then uses her red bucks for lunch (a la carte), and dinner at cafeterias with her friends.

good points , old fort. and that reminds me - my d should probably drop down to 7 meals from 10 - with rush there are probably going to be more meals not in North Campus cafeteria...

memphismom - daughter is also up for rush. Had to drive her up last night because of this supposed snow storm, and put her up in a hotel. If they join, I think there will be a lot of meals outside of North Campus. There will just be additional fee :), I think that will appear on the bursar bill.

all of son's fraternity charges were on the burser bill - room, board , dues...if there were others he paid them and didn't discuss...

my d flew up today on second half of round trip for Christmas break ticket we bought months ago ...very lucky as she had no problems with two flights and said she was on the plane with the wrestling team...
