Length & Frequency of Certain Classes

really i never even thought of this. at my school its for the most part 50 min MWF and 1 hr 15 min on TTH. i didnt find my english discussions being cut short when we met 3 times weekly. the only thing i found cut short was hsitory discussion once a week for 1 hour and fridays.

but i think it does make sense to have math-like classes meet more frequently so you have more chances to ask questions on the material. and hopefully that will allow only one bgi topic to be taught per calss.

and i giggled to the person who said they want to study 1-2 hours right after class everyday and do a 9-5 deal during college. no offense.. but i dont see that lasting longer than two weeks. 9 is EARLY in college. i would need a nap by 2:00 at the latest. last thing i want to do is go study right after hours of classes too

Beanieboo, I've just heard that's the best way to maximize your time, etc. So, I guess I'll see once I get there. Who knows? Maybe it will work out for me! :]

if i have an hour or two between classes, i'll study then, but once i'm done for the day i definitely want a break and i'll generally take a nap until dinner. then i stay up all night semi-doing work and mostly procrastinating. this is a common pattern with college students.
