<p>Anyone else submitting an essay slightly over 500 words? Did any admitted students submit something slightly over the limit?</p>
<p>As we will probably discuss later, you could get it beneath 500 by omitting that lengthy quote and rephrasing it in your own words.</p>
<p>Also, supposedly, as long as it is close, they won't care. Its not like the run a word count on each essay to ensure it is the proper length (or at least, its highly improbably that they would.)</p>
