Let's start a place for class of 2020 MIT hopefuls or something!

How did you get accepted to MIT if you applied early to Stanford?

Nah @Falcon1. I just lumped MIT with the other Ivies I applied to since they are all in the east coast. Except for Stanford, I’m getting a lotta love from my own state. :slight_smile: But, I’m very interested with the east coast schools.

^^ I see. I made my remark because you said “got” accepted to MIT and not “get” because it hasn’t happened yet. (Also, because I know of multiple instances this year where kids violated SCEA rules by also applying to EA schools.)

@Falcon1: Even if I wanted to violate the SCEA rules, my parents would give me hell for even thinking about it! LOL

After getting deferred should I expect an acceptance rate similar to EA for the RD decision?

@infiniteCircle No. But EA deferred applicants have been historically admitted at a higher rate than just RD applicants.

Oh cool thanks @XoXdreamerXoX

.

Have you guys heard anything about the decision date? In the previous years, it usually was March 14th, right?

It’s almost a guarantee

One week left! Hopefully…

Lol, watch it not be on Pi Day.

That’d be far too odd for MIT though.

Nah MIT’s too nerdy to not do Pi Day

Pi Day, Tau Time

@itsmyusername is it really?
