Let's start a place for class of 2020 MIT hopefuls or something!

An EA admit here
Wishing best of luck to everybody for tomorrow!!!

Lucky man/woman. I’m really hoping to get in tomorrow. 26 hours 28 minutes!

@Ahmad12345 Harvey Mudd comes out April 1st according to their site

T minus 24 hours

Sooo excited haha! I’m expecting a rejection 100% but this the wait is still killing me!

Have no idea how I’ll be able to sleep tonight and through all day tomorrow. Plus the decision comes out during my schools Pi Day party. Hopefully I’ll be celebrating an acceptance, not a rejection.

@Kna477, thank you for finding that out.

Good luck to everyone. I honestly hope each and every one of you is admitted. For those admitted tomorrow, HOLEEEEEEEE SCHMIDTTT. And, for those of you who will be receiving a rejection, like me, meh, there’s always Ivy Day to look forward with dread. Not to mention that where you go to college doesn’t determine your life or your self worth (unless you get in, in which case it totally does).

Guys I have a big problem. Please help. I applied to MIT Under regular action but I have not submitted all of my financial aid documents, just some of them. Will they still consider my application? They said their deadline is a soft deadline. Does that mean I had to submit everything before the decision date but after the deadline or can I submit them after I hear my decision? Please let me know as I am very stressed about it.

@Kimo212 Don’t worry, I think you should still receive your decision today. I think you can submit them after the fact, but by not submitting your financial aid documents on time I’m pretty sure that just means that you’ll receive your financial aid package later, possibly even after April 1st, which may affect your decision of attending if you are admitted.

I don’t think you should worry. I have called the sfs office regarding some information, the representative told me that I could wait until the decision and then send the materials in. In any case, I think the financial aid office is somewhat independent from the admissions office so I highly doubt that late documents will have an impact (especially that they do understand that some financial info can take time to be provided by the student). So best of luck with your decision!

I can’t sleep

@tutututututuru Watch some Netflix!

@bluefi @Inspirefly thank you both very much. Good luck to you and thanks a lot, you do not know how much stress I was in! You do not want to be in a place where your dream college rejects your app because it’s incomplete.

@Kimo212 financial aid and stuff doesn’t affect admissions at all. You’ll get your decision tomorrow for sure; you just may have to wait longer than everyone else for your financial aid package if you are lucky enough to be accepted.

Admitted to Caltech early. But I really hope to get in MIT… Good luck to everyone!!!

Preparing myself for rejection. Let’s go!
