When or how do we hear about financial aid? Aid based grants? ( please do not chime in about merit based scholorships). Anyone have real knowledge? Not speculation please. Thank you
^^^ From last year for RD applicant I saw " AID BASED GRANTS" came around 1st week of April and Later.
I can answer most questions on financial aid.
When using the calculators on the website, it gives us a need based aid amount…how close to that $ amount do people usually get?
They look at your EFC# and come very close to that so you are responsible for the EFC#. Rest they try to take care by Scholarship + Grant + Stafford + Work Study… so you do the Math what you need to come up with.
