Letter for International Aid!!!!! What?!

<p>I recently received a letter from the office of admission at CMU that <em>I</em> have notified them that I can't pay for my education, and since they don't offer aid, my app isn't acceptable.</p>

<p>I don't remember stating anything like I can't offer aid, and my bank statement said that I can manage 60,000 dollars per year, and they need 58K something.</p>

<p>What's the issue here?</p>

<p>This was sent in Oct 26, and I don't even remember sending in my preliminary app so early!</p>

Maybe they misinterpreted your bank statement?</p>

<p>Is your name in the letter? Maybe it was accidentally sent to the wrong person or something?</p>
