Hey Guys,

I was wondering do all applicants get a a letter in the mail from the Business Honors Program at UT Austin or those who got only rejected or accepted? I got one in the mail yesterday and I am waiting to open it but I want to clarify the dilemma. Anyone else get a a letter?

Thanks

Everyone gets a letter. You either got in or you didn’t. If you got waitlisted, you haven’t gotten in - yet. Since they expect about a 50% yield rate based on prior years, that is probably factored in.

We got a letter Saturday - BHP application is denied. Kid got into McCombs but not BHP. We are viewing this as a great safety and happy with it. Kid has applied to 13 schools, we will know the decisions by April 1st week. If he doesn’t get anywhere else, he will go to UT Austin.

Yes, everyone gets a letter. Remember that if you are on the wait list, that does not mean you are rejected and it does depend on our matriculation yield.

If you did not get in, look into the option of transferring as a sophomore. This is an option if you come to UT or otherwise, and the process takes place between march-end and May-beginning of your freshman year. Best of luck!
