I am very confused because I have gotten both a packet in the mail and email sent to me from the ILR School at Cornell University. The reason as to why I am confused is because my stats are no where near Ivy-League levels. (I have a 3.5 GPA and 1150 SAT score). Could anyone explain why I am getting letters from them? Though it is a great feeling, it doesn’t sound very correct. Thanks!
They bought a mailing list. Thousands of students received them.
I mean, I kind of figured that would be the case. But i thought they would have a mailing list of higher students, not just average
More applications from lower stat students, more rejections and a lower acceptance rate to brag about.
@ascholar13 I agree with @TomSrOfBoston, they are looking for you to apply, and get easily rejected. More money for them via admission fees, and an increase of their stats.
