Hey all!
I'm planning to transfer and some of the school's I'm looking to apply to specify that I can ask teaching assistants for letters of recommendations as well as instructors. I had a really great teaching assistant in one of my classes and I know she'd be able to write me a wonderful letter. She's also said previously that I could ask her for a letter of recommendation if I ever needed one. However, I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to ask a teaching assistant for a recommendation letter over an instructor. Do colleges give less weight to letters that aren't written by instructors, even though they allow letters from TA's? Any thoughts or advice?
