<p>uh, both? the letter shows up on the transcript, not the percentage though, so letters. oh, and it's in intervals of ten (as in 90-100=A=4.0)</p>

<p>Personally, I like that much more than letter grades - its more specific, and makes it a lot easier to figure out everyone's rank. Also, letter grades usually have a range, so people with completely different marks that happen to fall in the same range would get the same "letter", which i don't think is fair for the people with the higher marks....</p>
<p>Both I guess? If you get an A in the class, you have 1.000 pts added in credit, or a 4. If you get a B, you get a 3. A C=2, D=1, F=0. You add all the numbers and divide by the # of courses you've taken and add .036 to the final average for every AP course you took.</p>
