Hey I just got assigned to lewis hall and from what I've been reading about it, it doesn't seem like anything exceptional. Can anyone fill me in about it (like whether I've gotten screwed over or if its somewhat decent)? thanks

Meh, I was never a fan of Lewis. It's old, a little dirty, and labyrinthine, which is a pain for meeting people. It's certainly livable, and it's close to Dewick and Hogdon GTG, which is nice, but it's one of the ****tier buildings on campus. The rooms are biggish, if I remember well.
IMHO, you did sort of get screwed but it's not going to be awful by any means. The quality of your dorm doesn't play as big as big a factor in the quality of your college experience as you might think. If it's bad, you get used to it, if it's good, you get jaded to it, and if you're doing it right, you wont spend most of your time there anyway.

haha thanks for the advice

Lewis isn't SO bad. I know some kids who loved living there. The halls are segregated by sex, so you just have to round the corner to find some people of the other gender. I happen to like the rooms, but my issue with Lewis was that each hall has its own particular and not-very-pleasant odor, lol. But I'm told you get used to it quickly.

sucks to be you!
