Liberal Arts Colleges with Statistics major?

I'm going to be a high school senior this fall and I'd like to study Statistics in college. I want to go to a small liberal arts college, however I can't seem to find very many with statistics majors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most lacs will just have a math major in which you would concentrate on stats

Williams College has a major in statistics.

The Claremont Consortium has cross-registration for certain math-related curricula, which would include Statistics. You could look at some of the individual colleges there. There are varied emphases, depending on whether you want to pursue statistical modeling for social sciences or for financial forecasting, or whether you are interested in more theoretical, abstract math. Do you want a more traditional liberal arts college, or one of the more open, experimental colleges? Some of them offer attractive opportunities to design your own curriculum and independent study projects. I’d say that most traditional colleges would provide the courses you want through their Math and Economics departments. A small college like New College of Florida will allow you to create your own interdepartmental major.

At small schools or those with small math departments, statistics is often part of the math department.

What you may want to do is check whether sufficient statistics courses of interest to you are offered, and how often they are offered, since small math departments’ faculty capacity is often mostly consumed by offering service courses for non-majors.
