Im a junior now and im not sure if ill be accepted to storrs campus. I want to do something with business but im afraid the business school is harder to get into. There is only 1800 students in the business school opposed to the 9200 in the arts and science school. I figure i could apply to arts and science and then transfer. Does anyone think this is a good idea? Is it actually easier to get into arts and science? Is it easy to change schools at uconn? thanks in advance

I'm a senior in the business school at uconn. To get in as a freshman, I think you need like a 3.5+ and 1220+ on your SAT to be considered. You can transfer when in the school, but need at least a 3.2 and good performance in certain core courses. I hope this helps.

oh ok thanks i guess ill definetly apply to the liberal arts program and then try to switch. thanks for the help

would u say its even easier to get in if u apply for a major in the librel arts faculty that is not so commen??

what are your stats?

1120 sat/1600, 86 gpa going into senior year, great essay, my recomendation is by a uconn teacher

Business School- not a chance
Liberal Arts- 25% chance

That is a bit harsh omniscent. I mean a 25% CHANCE. You are way too involved in the cc world. Raffi, bring up your sat, and get good recs. I am assuming you are in state, you will prob. get in.
