I'm planning on applying to uconn for fall '10. What would be my chances of getting into the business school? I'm going to have 57 credits for sure by the time i apply, and 69 by the time im actually done with the spring semester and i'm currently a sophomore in CUNY Baruch btw. I'm most likely going to have at least a 3.0 gpa by the time i apply. in case this helps ive had an extreme and i mean EXTREME upward trend. my first semester of college-fall '08 after 16 credits i had a 2.18 gpa (D in calculus really killed me along with a couple of history classes), then in spring '09 i really bounced back with a 3.1 gpa and another 16 credits. took a summer bio class didnt do so well on it-C. and as of this semester im taking 15 credits and im really trying for a 3.85, if im lucky a 4.0 gpa but all i know is that my GPA is definitely going to be above a 3.6 this semester, and then 2 winter classes on top of that.

In terms of transferring in general, it is impossible to chance without SAT/ACT scores, as well as high school GPA.

In terms of the business school, you will most likely not be able to transfer directly in to a major, as there are certain prerequisites required, depending in the major, to enter the school. That being said, the business school is, GPA-wise, difficult to gain admittance to, and you may not do so with a 3.0 GPA.

I would encourage you to review the website: [How to Apply - Prospective Students : University of Connecticut School of Business](http://www.business.uconn.edu/cms/p579)
