Liberal girl with bad fashion sense talks about diversity and setbacks (read essays?)

Hello! I've written three essays so far and would love some feedback (as the application is due on the 31 - I know, good timing right?). The prompts were these:

Describe a setback that you have faced. How did you resolve it? How did the outcome affect you? If something similar happened in the future, how would you react?

and

Share an experience through which you have gained respect for intellectual, social, or cultural differences. Comment on how your personal experiences and achievements would contribute to the diversity of the University of Michigan.

and

Topic of your choice or maybe personal statement.

If you would like to read and react to my essays (or just one) please let me know! I'd really prefer no '09ers, please, because my essays are so wonderful I'm just gosh-darn positive that you'll plagiarize them. No but really, I'd prefer the non-'09ers. :)

Im an 09'er, but here is a little advice. Make sure you are not too cliche on the either essay. There are many topics that are very overwritten in both. Try to either think outside the box (another cliche, what irony) and don't end up sounding to fake or that your life is changed completely (unless it was which is an extremely rare occurrence)

Bump!! Help?
