<p>So I pretty much decided to go Cal Poly unless they somehow reject me due to final transcripts ( 2 B’s in ap sciences 
) I was wondering how’s life there. simple as that. Is there places to shop for groceries etc. I try google mapping things and noticed there’s no walmart… So is there any local businesses that make up for it? </p>

<p>Yeah, definitely. Downtown SLO, which is less than a half-mile away from campus I believe, has all sorts of quaint eateries and places to shop. There, you can also find a lot of brand name stores; Banana Republic is the one that comes to mind first. A few freeway exits closer to Avila, I remember there being a Target and some other box stores as well as tons of grocery stores. You should really go check it out in person though if you can.</p>
