So I've just been accepted into Sixth College at UCSD! I'm excited to attend UCSD and looking forward to orientation and the Triton Day event during spring break! My major is Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts. I just want to know now if UCSD has a good social scene? I've heard about Triton Eye or w/e and rumors that there are no pretty girls at UCSD but I believe that is some bullcrap. For one thing I know a couple of cute LA chicks that have gone to UCSD last year and also some that will be going this year. Anyways, as a Korean boy from LA who was pretty social in his teenage years (not a hard-core partier or rebel haha), I would like to know how the social scene is. Are people open and willing to hang-out and chill once in a while? Do people actually date at UCSD? What kind of clubs are active and fun to join? Thank you!

To be honest, life at UCSD is what you make of it. If you want to party, it’s easy to meet people who are down. If you are open and friendly and awesome, you’ll meet people who are just the same. The people who ***** about social life here are the ones who sit at home and don’t do anything to make their social lives better, everyone else loves it. As for clubs, you can pretty much find whatever you’re into… intermural sports, student government, Greek life, whatever. There’s a scene for everyone. You get what you put in.

Man ill see you there maybe we can find girls together because thats what i heard

Hi,
My name is Christine and I am looking to interview UCSD’s newly-admitted students. I work at UCSD and I am working on a story about admissions and Triton Day (admit day). Please write to me if you have just been admitted to UCSD and if you would like to be interviewed. My deadline is today. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Christine
