I tried looking for "University of Illinois at Chicago" on the forum but it wasn't there.. so yeah. Anywho, I'm currently a high school student and future undergraduate. I was thinking of applying to UIC but since I live outside the states I don't really have a chance to visit the University. So I was wondering could anyone give me information about this Uni? Like the life in UIC and outside. Is it diverse enough for a international student? What are the advantages and disadvantages of attending UIC? Please say anything about the Uni! Spill the stuff! Thank you!

UIC is considered a commuter school. Many kids live at home and attend school here. It is not a traditional college such as UIUC is meaning: lacking that typical college experience, not into sports, not into frats or sororities, not a aesthetically beautiful campus–sort of like a prison. A few of my daughter’s friends go here and a few like it. Has a good premed program. Yes, it is very diverse, you will fit in no problem. You have lovely Chicago at your door step. It is a respectable school but just not your traditional college.
