I got my likely letter today!! Beyond excited, considering I got rejected from UNC-Chapel Hill just a few days ago. I was in total shock! Class of 2015 woop woop!!

I got my “there is no question that when we make our final decisions at the end of March, you will be offered admission to the college.” Wow! I did not expect it at all. Stats as requested: non-athlete (ballerina), no interview or summer program, no URM, ACT 35, NMSF, 4.0 uw/4.5 w, rank 1/325/MI public high school, 12 APs and 40+ dual enroll. My letter is dated 1/27 it came in the mail today. Congrats to all and good luck to those waiting!

All of you who received a likely letter, what areas of the country do you live? Then we can track the arrival patterns of the letters.

So are people who received likely letters the only people accepted so far or something?.. :/

this is slightly depressing, although i have to say i feel very happy for you all who have gotten in! dartmouth seems like a place unlike any other. congratulations! :)

did any of you anything related to this on your status-check page?

I live in Mississippi, and got mine today for the poster that wanted to know. Living in Mississippi is actually probably the reason I got one… but for everyone else… I had planned on waiting til April anyway so this was just awesome, don’t get your hopes down!

wait, how do ppl receive likely letters already-if they just began the process of reviewing-is this for recruits and stuff?

It looks like it’s just for normal people who stood out early in the process. I don’t think they’ve reviewed every single application or anything.

Congrats to all who can relax and enjoy the rest of their year. For the rest of us (who found out about this by some unfortunate mistake), let’s try stay optimistic… :P

agree with flowed!! :)

sniffle agreed with flowed…but still ): LOL
okay okay, I’ll be optimistic. I only have 0 rejections…0 deferred…and 0…acceptances…right…now ): LOOL

HEY ALL!

I think it might be fun for all of us “Dartmouth likelies” to share our stats! Anyone in?

Do it.

10char

I just got my letter!!! Totally in shock and super crazy excited Quick stats: I’m from PA with a 2350 SAT, 4.0 (if my school actually had GPA), lots of diverse extra curriculars but not outstanding in any - think “Renaissance Man”. Congrats to everyone else who received one and to those who haven’t, it’s definitely not over yet!

What was it dated?

Congrats to all those that got their letters. All those that didn’t get one, don’t fret since the ones that get the letters will probably choose to attend elsewhere anyway.

I submitted mine at the last minute possible (12/31) and got one on Monday of this past week

From a '14 to the likely '15’s…

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Come to dimensions and let us prove to all of you why Dartmouth is amazing! From now until then, relax, chill, and don’t stress. You’ve gotten into an amazing school (one you should come to!!!), and in your absolute worst case scenario, you don’t get into any other schools and HAVE to come to Dartmouth.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.

PS You guys are so lucky! I didn’t get my likely until mid February…

Has anyone from CA received one yet? Bumming but still hopeful…:(

I did read that last year, 500 letters were sent out in 3 phases: early Feb, mid Feb, and early March, depending on when you submitted the ap.

We have Class of 2015 tab but can’t log in with username and password…and no likely letter. Maybe the tab is there for everyone but only “liklies” can sign in?? Can all you likelies actually sign in?

Yes, I can sign in and I put my name in the directory.
