<p>Anyone else get a likely letter? I received a very personalized one talking about my interests and interview and why they thought I'd do well at Middlebury. </p>
<p>It's odd, though, since I never visited and told my interviewer that I probably wouldn't go even if I were accepted. I was feeling roguish that day, I suppose. Figured those two factors would pave the way to "waitlist."</p>

<p>EC's: editor-in-chief of school newspaper, drama club president, varsity rock climbing. Semi related - I had a really good job last summer on the business side of a small newspaper. I was the circulation manager, and I had about 15 employees. Summer before that I had a good internship at a theater</p>
<p>Awards: Two of particular note. First was this fellowship at school for international travel. I went to Brazil to study their economy and came back with some good essay fodder, particularly re: poverty. The newspaper I edit won the JEA's student impact award for effecting positive change in our community with regard to the way we deal with honor offenses. </p>
<p>Hook(s): none. Apart from my interview, which actualy turned out well. The guy and i got along great, which is why I was so honest with him. The letter said he gave me a very positive report.</p>
<p>The form letter? Was it really long? haha i didn't really read it - looked like it just explained the admissions process. If that's what you mean, then yes, I got it.</p>
