<p>We do communicate with students in a variety of ways (calls, emails, letters and even this message board!). The letters you're probably referring to go out to a VERY small % of our applicant pool. Even in the largest schools, no more than a small handful of applicants receive these letters. "A lot" is a relative term really. </p>
<p>Even though I'm not very good at math, let's do a math problem. If we send out a small % of these letters to our applicant pool and if in even the largest schools, only a small handful receive the letter, what then is the impact on the final admissions decision? I guess this is more logic than math.</p>
<p>ANSWER: Many, many students who will be admitted do not receive one of these letters. I wouldn't sweat it too much if you didn't get one of these letters.</p>
