<p>I was away for christmas so I don't know when it actually arrived but it's dated Dec 22. It reads "I write to thank you for your distinguished application....." I'm so excited. Carolina is my absolute FIRST choice and I thought I was gonna get deferred if not rejected bc I'm Out of state. It still didn't sink in yet..</p>

<p>Hey pannaga. I got a likely letter, but no scholarship day invite. I'm also from a non-nominating school.</p>

<p>^ Both. I got a letter and email in October about semifinalist, had a phone interview, and received a letter and email in early December about finalist status. I've since been contacted a few times by the selection committee for travel arrangements.</p>
<p>I got my likely letter on like the 22nd of December....I didn't even know what it was when I got it! Thought it was a "feel good" type of thing, that they sent it to everyone. So does this mean I'm in the Honors Program?????</p>
