I know Cornell sends out likely letters, but do they ever send them to Hotelies?
From what I’ve heard they typically send them to URMs, athletes and female engineers
(Idk how true this is, it’s just what I’ve heard!)

I believe Hotel school sends out early admits, not likely letters in Feb. They are not bonded by the Ivy agreement. this info is few years old, but you can google.
apparently they send out acceptance letters around beginning of march as well as late march (rejections apparently go out late march only)
How do you guys know this? I can’t find any of this of the website.
Bump!! I would like to know this too!!
Ok guys, you need to try to Google sometimes. It will be helpful when you are in college.

Few years back, my kid’s friend was admitted to the Hotel school in Feb.
Most of you waiting on likely letters aren’t going to get them. Statistically speaking, most of you guys aren’t going to get in…I’m not sure why people pay so much attention to something that less than 1% (a couple hundred, most of those being students with significant hooks) of applicants receive.
The hotel school does conduct rolling admissions, but the vast majority will hear back on the official Ivy notification date. ** Not receiving a likely letter does not indicate an instant rejection. **
I really hope someone can get a thread regarding likely letters and interviews stickied. It might cut down on the number of questions like this one.
Best of luck!
the SHA sends out early admissions letters but not typically likely letters.
