Has anyone received a likely letter from Harvard yet? Or a phone call? Or email? I know Yale and Columbia sent theirs out already but I haven’t heard from anyone about getting one from Harvard…

I only see one person posting and a bunch of congratulations. But hey, one is more than none. And maybe none of the 300 people who got likely letters are on college confidential in the first place!
Mine was mailed out last Monday and arrived Thursday. I’d imagine most of them have been sent out by now. The admissions officer called me two weeks ago, so if you haven’t heard anything by now, you probably won’t until the 31st.
Then again, there was just something in Penn’s paper yesterday about two waves of likely letters—half that went out in mid-February and the other half that applicants will receive early this month:

So other schools may be sending out additional likely letters this month too. I know someone who received one at the end of the first week in March last year.
Yes, I think you’re probably right. Well, March 31st then!
