<p>We got that envelope yesterday, and since Smith is D's #1 choice in the states, it was disappointing to get the false alarm big envelope! I thought it seemed like kind of a mean trick.</p>
<p>Eh. You just gotta know that the published reply dates are more or less correct. I think that Smith may have jumped the nominal April 1 date by 5-7 days, iirc, but that was it. Look at it this way...less than a month now.</p>
<p>The waiting is hard. But the stress of it disappears afterwards. Hang in there, everyone. You'll be wrestling with dorm shopping lists soon enough, wondering whether to ship or buy local, etc.</p>
<p>We got the biggish Smith envelope today. It was a "while you wait here is some additional info on Smith" - very nice of them. Its difficult to be kept in the dark about decisions that are so important and a little communication goes a long way. Having withdrawn our app - It's pretty clear this isn't a hint to RD'ers just a (nice) mass mailing.</p>
