I am thinking about transfering here my junior year. For those of you already attending University of Chicago, what do you like and dislike about the school?

I have heard that there is a massive amount of work. Is it meaningful work or busy work?

Btw what are my chances of getting in as a transfer.

College GPA 3.78

what school are u transferering from?

A small private college in boca raton called Lynn University. You probably never heard about it.

I have yet to encounter any real busy work at the University. Granted, I've only been there a year, but all of the work that I've dealt with has been geared towards actually learning material.

I can't tell you what your chances of getting on as a transfer for, because transfer admissions are different and often more lenient than new student admissions. However, I would suggest that if you are seriously considering transfering to Chicago, that you figure out your major and figure out how much of your current school credit will transfer over. Chicago's quirky core program means that sometimes transfers find themselves a year or two behind because their credit hasn't transferred. That's usually dependant on your major, though.
